Hashcube Partners with Play Betting Platform to Integrate Esports Competitions | Pocket Gamer.biz

Gaming betting platform Pllay has partnered with Indian casual mobile gaming studio Hashcube to deliver esports competitions to its user base.

Founded in 2008, Hashcube is a Bangalore-based casual mobile game studio behind the development of Sudoku Quest, Mahjong Quest, etc. The partnership will provide Play with access to Hashcube’s player base of more than 20 million mobile users.

We previously spoke with Hashcube about how the focus on retention and the gradual increase in difficulty led Sudoku Quest to outperform its competition.

Play’s API technology enables studios to support its AI, fintech, gamer identity and token business features, which it says can increase user engagement and drive revenue growth.

“HashCube is fast becoming one of the world’s leading mobile game studios,” said Shawn Gunn, CEO of Play.

“This integration will provide HashCube with access to our powerful and newly scalable enterprise offering, allowing both companies to leverage each other’s capabilities and resources that will support growth initiatives at all levels. “

Earlier this week, India’s social gaming platform Zupee revealed a partnership with Jio Platforms to allow Jio mobile users to access the company’s roster of games.
