NetMarble’s latest project, a casual city-building merge game, Merge Kuya, Island was officially launched for Android and iOS today. Based on NetMarble’s original Kuya IP that started with a few animated shorts on Youtube, this cute kid-friendly sim also offers a nice relaxing atmosphere with some decent bit of depth.
For those who missed the announcement about three weeks ago, Merge Kuya Island will see players complete various missions across the island that will reward them with new resources which can then be used on their structures to build their island and make a tropical paradise. Combine that with Adventure Mode, which features challenging stages with different gameplay like Time Attack stages, and there’s plenty to both relax and unwind as well as challenge yourself.
To celebrate the launch, Merge Kuya Island is giving away 1,000 gems to players who start the game and complete a certain number of missions or reach a certain level threshold. By doing so, you will immediately receive 1,000 free gems, which are essentially the premium currency of this game. Daily free gems will also be available during the bonus event Coins are Falling from the Sky which will also be running alongside the celebration opening.
All in all, Merge Kuya Island is a wonderfully cute and relaxing builder that doesn’t seek to stress you out with timers and a long to-do list, but also offers challenges for those looking for a bit more depth to experience. . For more information, you can check the game’s official website, Twitteror Facebook as well.
And if you’re looking to download Merge Kuya Island and try it yourself, you can find it for free on the App Store and Google Play.
