GREEN BAY – Terry Allen King, 41, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, died suddenly of natural causes at home on Saturday, December 11, 2021.

He was born June 26, 1980 in Escanaba, son of Tony and Connie (King) Mayville. He graduated from Escanaba High School in 1998 and later attended North Western Technical College. Terry was employed by US Petroleum as a service technician. He previously worked as a boilermaker and was a member of Boiler Maker Union 169.

Terry married the love of his life Amanda “Mandy” J. Yowell at All Saints Church in Gladstone on May 25, 2013. Along with his beloved wife, Terry leaves behind two young sons, Evan and Ethan King of Green Bay; Tony and Connie Mayville of Escanaba; grandmother, Marie Mayville; stepmother, Rebecca Yowell of Gladstone, brothers, Kyle (Maddie Bailey) Mayville of Escanaba and Kalvin Mayville of Manistique; brother-in-law Marc Yowell and nephew, Jackson Yowell of Kalamazoo; special uncle and aunt, Don and Becky Moody; and many, many aunts, uncles, cousins ​​and friends.

Those who knew Terry were blessed by his boisterous presence and big heart. Terry had a way of making everyone feel special, even the strangers who happened to cross his path. His passion for classic cars, especially Model A’s, Roadsters and Broncos, carried over into his everyday life. You could always find Terry tinkering in the garage or driving around for the next car parts deal. It was in the garage that he proudly rebuilt his 1969 Pontiac Firebird. Terry never missed a car show and looked forward to the annual Symco Weekender. When he wasn’t working in the garage, Terry loved craft beer and always looked forward to attending beer festivals, where he had made countless friendships over the years. He also coached his son Evan’s football team and was a member of the Monkey Business Fun Club, serving as president of the Banana Peelers Vintage Bicycle and Hot Rods Show.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, François “Frieze” and Rosalie King; paternal grandfather, Don Mayville; stepfather, Lonnie J. Yowell; brother-in-law, Lonnie Yowell Jr.; uncles, Wayne “Mannish” King and Roger King; and his cousin, Sarah Jo Mayville.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 17 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th Street, Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Jamie Ziminski officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery on Monday, December 20.
