The best Genshin Impact Aloy construction

More constructions of Genshin Impact

In search of the best Genshin Impact Aloy Construction? Genshin Impact 2.2 is here, and with it comes Horizon Zero Dawn’s crossover character, Aloy. Officially, the Five Star Archer Cryo launched in version 2.1, but that was only on PlayStation. Now PC gamers can finally claim it when the new version launches.

The best of all? It is free for all players. All you need is an Adventure Rank of at least 20 to collect it from your in-game mailbox. Aloy also looks pretty powerful, with plenty of AoE Cryo attacks and reels: a stackable buff which increases normal attack damage and infuses her attacks with Cryo when she hits four.

While it’s not clear if she’ll be one of Genshin Impact’s best characters yet, she does appear to be a good damage-maker. This is all the more true when you consider that anyone can add her to their team, and since she doesn’t have constellations, she doesn’t require as much investment.

In this Genshin Impact Aloy building guide, I’ll go over everything there is to know about Archer Cryo, including abilities, ascension materials, and our own build to try out when she arrives.

The best Genshin Impact Aloy construction

Aloy can gain big bonuses to normal attack damage by stacking coils, so a good way to increase his damage potential is to build on that.

Unfortunately, Aloy’s Predator Arc will only work properly on PlayStation, which means you’ll need an alternate pick for it. If you have the Five Star Amos Bow, this is a great choice, increasing normal and charged attack damage by 12%, as well as an additional 8% for every 0.1 seconds of arrow. It works well with the normal attack boost Aloy gets from stacking coils.

A four star alternative would be one of Inazuma’s weapons, Hamayumi. This bow increases normal attack damage by 16% and charged attack damage by 12%. When Aloy’s energy reaches 100%, this effect is doubled. You can get the diagram for making Hamayumi by opening Takashi’s chests for seven consecutive days north of Kannazuka Island.

  • Artifact: The reminiscence of Shimenawa

The Reminiscence of Shimenawa is a good set of artifacts for Aloy. For both pieces, its attack is increased by 18%, and when you have four pieces, casting an elemental skill increases normal, charged, and diving attack damage by 50% for ten seconds, if you have 15 or more. energy.

Aloy’s elemental skill is how she gains stacks of coils, which increase her normal attack damage and allow her to enter the state of rushed ice, infusing her attacks with Cryo. Shimenawa’s effect adds up to this pretty well, providing an additional normal attack boost when she uses this skill to gain more coils.

Another alternate set could be the Martial Artist, which increases Normal and Charged Attack by 15%, and also provides 25% Normal and Charged Attack Boost for eight seconds when casting an Elemental Skill.

Ascension of Aloy Materials

As with the other Cryo characters, you’ll need Shivada Jade to level up Aloy, which can be obtained from Cryo Regisvines and Hypostases, although the latter is a better option as you’ll also need the Crystalline Blooms she drops. In addition to that, you will also need to obtain materials from the world:

  • Crystal marrow
  • Spectral carcass

Crystal Marrow is obtained from the snake skeleton on Yashiori Island – just check around the bones and you’ll see it sticking out. Spectral Husk series items, on the other hand, are a new material arriving in Genshin Impact 2.1. You can get them by defeating the Wraiths, which you should be able to find on the two new introduced islands: Seirai or Watatsumi.

Here’s what you’ll need to increase Aloy’s talents:

  • Teachings of freedom
  • Spectral carcass
  • Moment of fusion
  • Crown of insight

You can get Freedom Lessons at the Forsaken Rift Estate on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays. Spectral Husk series items are dropped by Specters from different world levels. The Molten Moment is a reward for defeating the new boss of La Signora at level 70+. Finally, the Crown of Insight comes from seasonal events and upgrading the Frostbearer Tree in Dragonspine or the Sacred Sakura in Inazuma.
