Voodoo has revealed that it is making a “significant” investment in Israeli casual game developer Teskin.
Founded in 2018, Teskin specializes in developing mobile match 3 titles and puzzles, including Jewels Planet, Jewel Empire, and Candy Deluxe.
To date, Teskin has racked up over 20 million downloads in its casual mobile game portfolio.
In addition to its headquarters in Israel, Teskin has a second branch located in Ukraine.
Going forward, Teskin will continue to operate independently as part of Voodoo’s occasional business unit. With this new funding, Teskin will expand its team and strengthen its game portfolio.
“We share the same vision as Voodoo: to create high quality games and to entertain gamers,” said Teskin co-founders Lior Gluskin and Iliya Tesler.
“With the investment from Voodoo, we will be able to set new records by expanding our team and achieving our original goal of creating leading mobile games that people will enjoy playing for years to come. We are thrilled. to move forward and take Teskin to the next level. “
Voodoo co-founder and CEO Alexandre Yazdi added, “We are excited to invest in Teskin to drive their growth in the casual gaming market. Iliya and Lior have built a strong, successful and motivated team with an impressive track record of successful Match 3 and puzzle games. Together, we take another important step in our mission to entertain the world. “
Last month, Voodoo acquired Israeli start-up Beach Bum to diversify its ad monetization to IAPs.
